We were contacted by the Tauranga Yacht Club in regards to a set of outdoor stairs they were having problems with and were unsure how to resolve this problem.  The stairs were starting to chip on the edges, as well as becoming slippery.  On top of this, there was no obvious visual distinction to tell where the edge of the stair was, as one tended to blend in with the next.

One option they considered was to retile the entire set of stairs, which would have been not only costly, but very time consuming and messy.

After considering their situation and the outcome they desired, Floorsafe supplied them with their new heavy duty anodised aluminium stair nosing which has 4 carborundum moulded anti slip inserts.  These were supplied to the Yacht Club, along with our Gorilla Grip to glue them down and they had them fitted in less than a couple of hours.  Problem solved quickly and cost effectively for many years to come.

They were so thankful that their problem was so easy to solve and not only have they tidied the look of the stairs up, they are now non slip and safe to use.
