Saving the kakapo
11-Apr-2011
We received an unusal order the other day from Errol Nye, Head Ranger at Codfish Island off Invercargill, where a Kakapo breeding programme is taking place.Errol explained to me that the Kakapo's nests were checked at night by the staff, in regards to their breeding programme. The problem being, geting to and from the nests safely.
The solution? Floorsafe NZ RTS Silver Reflective Tape! The RTS Silver Tape was chosen to mark the way at to the nests at night. With a simple pass of the flashlight the path through the dark bush becomes immediately clear thanks to the Silver tapes highly reflective properties.
Floorsafe NZ wishes Errol and his staff all the best with the breeding programme. Go the Kakapo!
